Our Senior Podiatrist, Alex, is heading off on a well-deserved sabbatical this October – and it’s not just a holiday. Alex will be travelling to India to support Project Salt Run which is an incredible challenge of 100 marathons in 100 days! This project aims to raise awareness and support for vital causes, we couldn’t be prouder to see Alex getting involved in something so inspiring.

Alex will be away until April 2026, when he’ll return to clinic full of stories from his travels. We know he’s really looking forward to sharing his experiences with you all when he’s back.

We have you covered whilst Alex is away.

However, while Alex is away, you can rest assured that your foot care is still in safe hands. We’re lucky to have such a strong team, and we’re also welcoming a couple of fantastic additions:

👟 Ethan will be stepping in to cover Alex’s caseload. Ethan is a good friend of Alex’s, and they both qualified around the same time. With solid experience in NHS podiatry, he brings a wealth of knowledge and a friendly approach to clinic life. We know you’ll be in excellent hands with him.

👣 Kerys joined our team in June, she is working three days a week at Tameside Chiropody. She’s already been making a great impression with her skills and warm personality.

Although we’ll miss Alex while he’s away, our clinics are fully covered. We want to emphasize that you’ll continue to receive the same high level of care you expect from us.

Let’s all wish Alex the best of luck on this amazing journey – we can’t wait to follow his progress and welcome him back full of stories (and hopefully not too many blisters!).
